🦀 LA Crab Shack, a concept offering Louisiana-style seafood boils, raw and char-grilled oysters, and frozen cocktails, has opened its third Valley location on the southeast corner of 48th Street and Ray in Ahwatukee.
What makes LA Crab Shack special? You build your own 4‑pound combo boil with your choice of Dungeness, snow or king crab legs; lobster tail; head‑on or headless shrimp crawfish; clams; or mussels – and then toss in add‑ons like sausage, red potatoes, corn, and hard‑boiled eggs.
Choose from their house blend, garlic butter, lemon pepper, Cali Cajun, Rajun Cajun and more, with spice levels from mild to ‘‘inferno.’’
The vibe here is unapologetically casual and fun. Tables are often covered in butcher paper, bibs and crab tools are provided, and communal sinks make cleanup easy – perfect for embracing your inner seafood enthusiast.
Plus, with happy hour cocktails and frozen daiquiris on the menu, it’s shaping up to be a great spot for after‑work hangs and weekend dinner dates.
Open from noon-9 p.m. daily.
