ChikPop, a sibling of FishPop, debuts at Tempe Eats food hall

🐓 ChikPop, a fried chicken sandwich concept from the creators of FishPop, is the latest to join the ever-changing lineup at Tempe Eats food hall on the southeast corner of Mill and Southern.

Korean-born chef Joon Chang launched FishPop in Los Angeles, but moved to the Valley earlier this year. His pop-ups quickly became a social media sensation and have drawn long lines, leading to a June gig at Tempe Eats that has since been extended to August.

Now FishPop been joined by ChikPop, which is getting a July tryout at the food hall.

The opening menu feature three sandwiches: the OG Sando, Hot Honey Sando, and Maple Truffle Sando. All come with a side of fries.

The food hall’s communal dining area includes a beer wall and full bar.

Open noon-8 p.m. (or until sold out) daily.
