🌮 Tacos El Jefe, a family-run restaurant specializing in Mexico City-style street tacos, has opened on the northeast corner of 19th Avenue and Northern in north Phoenix.
The concept is not related to El Jefe Tacos, which has two locations in the East Valley.
Tacos El Jefe’s tacos – carne asada, al pastor, cabeza, pollo al pastor, birria, and tripa – are simply topped with onions and cilantro.
The menu also offers tortas, including a Cubana (breaded steak, ham, hot dog link, eggs, and pastor meat) and Hawaiian (grilled ham, breaded steak, and grilled pineapple).
