🥩 Kaboui, a high-end Japanese steakhouse, has opened at The Remi, a new boutique hotel in Old Town Scottsdale.
It’s located on Buckboard Trail just south of Camelback (across the street from the W Scottsdale)
How high-end? How about a 40-ounce bone-in Mishima Reserve wagyu ribeye, carved at your table, for $325. (But if you want steak sauce, it’s an extra $6.)
Other menu highlights include Japanese milk toast, yakitori charcoal-grilled skewers ranging from pork belly to lobster, wagyu fried rice in a clay pot, and a Japanese A5 strip steak for a mere $150.
Kaboui, a play on the word ‘‘cowboy,’’ also offers a sushi ‘‘stampede of nigiri, sashimi, and signature rolls’’ for $275 and 20 Japanese whiskies.
The Remi’s other food and drink concepts are an American diner called F-Sixteen, a rooftop pool bar called Allegra, and a lobby bar.
