🍕 Federal Pizza, which debuted in uptown Phoenix in 2012, launches a second location at 11 a.m. Tuesday at PV, the revitalized former Paradise Valley Mall, in northeast Phoenix.
The Upward Projects concept – a sibling to Postino Wine Café, Joyride Taco House, Windsor, and Churn – is located next to Flower Child near the northwest corner of Cactus and Tatum.
Like the original, the 4,000-square-foot PV location has low-slung bricks, custom tilework, and vibrant 1970s graphics and wallpaper. A 1,500-square-foot curved patio hugs half the building.
Unlike the original, it has a take-out lounge and bottle shop (with dedicated parking spaces) where you can sip on craft beer, wine, and cocktails while enjoying tunes via the speaker wall and playing arcade games.
The menu offers wood-fired traditional and Detroit-style deep dish pizzas, house-made pastas, salads, and more.
To celebrate the opening, the first 100 guests will receive a custom trucker hat and bottle opener, plus a Wren House Brewing koozie. There will be mix-and-match beer at a discounted price, and pints of Churn ice cream for sale.
