Tratto moving back to original space at Town & Country in Phoenix

🍝 Tratto, Chris Bianco’s acclaimed Italian restaurant in Phoenix, is going home.

Bianco launched Tratto in 2016 next to his Pizzeria Bianco at Town & Country, an open-air mall on the southeast corner of Camelback and 20th Street.

During the pandemic, he moved Tratto to a larger space that could better accommodate social distancing in the Roland’s Market building on the southeast corner of Van Buren and 15th Street.

Now, that location will close Saturday, and Tratto will reopen by mid-September in its original – but expanded and renovated – space at Town & Country.

In a social media post, Bianco says he has ‘‘something really special’’ planned for the vacated Roland’s Market space, but didn’t elaborate.
