
🍞 South Tempe has a new sourdough bakery: Copper State Bread has opened on the Sprouts plaza on southeast corner of Rural and Elliot.
Owner and baker Bryan O’Connor – whose dad was a chef and his mom a pastry chef – got his start by selling Copper State Bread on Facebook and at farmers markets around the Valley.
Green Chile & Cheddar is his signature sourdough loaf, but there’s also Olive & Rosemary and plain sourdough as well as baguettes and focaccia.
Menu items range from bagels, croissants, and coffee drinks for breakfast to sourdough pizzas and sandwiches for lunch.
