🏈 Lakeside Bar & Grill in Peoria introduces a new menu of over-the-top tailgate eats – led by a Gridiron Monster Burger – for college football fans at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The towering creation features four beef patties, a crispy chicken breast, bacon, cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks – all piled high with chipotle ranch, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles.
Served with a pound of fries and dipping sauces, the $40 burger is designed to feed four. But we won’t judge.
Other new items: the First Down Sampler, a collection of potato boats, chicken strips, chips and salsa, and mozzarella sticks; Hail Mary Sticks, jumbo mozzarella sticks with marinara; and Chain Gang Chili Cheese Fries.
Lakeside also will unveil a new NFL Sundays brunch menu next Sunday, Sept. 7.
