Il Bosco Pizza opens 1st East Valley location in south Tempe

🍕 Il Bosco Pizza, the well-regarded wood-fired pizzeria and bar, has launched its first East Valley location.

It takes over the former Sacred Pi space in the Changing Hands Bookstore plaza on the southwest corner of McClintock and Guadalupe in Tempe.

Il Bosco’s menu features more than two dozen artisan pizzas, including its signature Divina with prosciutto, sopressata, caramelized onions, peppadew peppers, serrano peppers, mozzarella, and red sauce.

A full bar serves cocktails, wine, and draft beer.

Il Bosco was launched by Bill Forrest in 2012 on the northwest corner of Scottsdale and Shea in Scottsdale. In 2019, Forrest sold the pizzeria to Jeff Carlberg and John Dorsey.

The new owners expanded the concept by opening additional locations at Roosevelt and Fifth Street in downtown Phoenix and Frank Lloyd Wright and Via Linda in Scottsdale.
