Downtown Phoenix cocktail bar Quartz to close Sept. 15

🚫 Quartz, a downtown Phoenix cocktail bar that offers a dozen gemstone-inspired specialty drinks, announced it will close Sept. 15.

In a social announcement, no reason was given for the closing of the 2,000-square-foot lounge, which opened in April 2023 on the southeast corner of Van Buren and Fourth Avenue.

Quartz features a glowing main bar floating beneath a faux rock-slab ceiling. Tucked behind the bar is a private lounge called The Cave.

It’s the first standalone bar from Instrumental Hospitality (Belly Kitchen & Bar, Sin Muerte) in partnership with Chuckie Duff (Cobra Arcade Bar, Ziggy’s Pizza, The Rebel Lounge).
