🍕 Brooklyn V’s, a local group of New York-style pizzerias, has opened its sixth East Valley location in northeast Mesa.
It takes over the former Flancer’s building on the southwest corner of Higley and McKelllips. Flancer’s closed in June.
Owner Vito LoPiccolo – who operated Italian restaurants in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island – opened the first Brooklyn V’s in Gilbert in 2013.
He added locations in Queen Creek in 2017, Chandler Crossroads in 2018, south Chandler in 2021, and San Tan Valley in 2023.
Brooklyn V’s menu offers more than 20 specialty pizzas, plus calzones, strombolis, pastas, and dinner entrees.
Desserts include tiramisu, cannolis, and a variety of house-made cheesecakes.
