🌮 Zona Cantina & Cocina, a Mexican restaurant that debuted in northeast Mesa in 2022, has soft-opened a second location with a limited menu and hours in Gilbert.
It takes over the former Holiday Toast & Tap, which closed in February, on the southwest corner of Greenfield and Warner.
The space previously had been home to Copper & Logs, Pizza A Metro, Via, Tutti Santi, and Amarone Ristorante Italiano.
In addition to tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, Zona’s menu offers Mexican twists on burgers, sushi, pasta, and even egg-fried rice.
The bar offers flights of margaritas and candy shots.
