🥢 Pepper Lunch, a Japanese “fast-steak” chain with more than 540 locations in 17 countries, makes its long-awaited Arizona debut Saturday at the brand-new University Gateway Building near the southeast corner of Mill and University in Tempe.
Founded in 1994, Pepper Lunch is famous for its interactive, DIY dining experience where guests cook steak, rice, and veggies on patented sizzling hot plates. Its signature dish is Beef Pepper Rice (pictured).
To sweeten the launch, the first 100 guests each day Saturday through Monday will score a free Beef Pepper Rice. Everyone else still wins with a bounce-back coupon good for a buy-one-get-one Beef Pepper Rice on their next visit.
