Heritage Kitchen & Cocktails opens in north Scottsdale

🐙 Heritage Kitchen & Cocktails, a modern American restaurant with coastal Mediterranean influences, has opened in the Bashas’ plaza on the southwest corner of Bell and Thompson Peak Parkway in north Scottsdale.

The globally inspired menu from chef Christopher Brugman, a ‘‘Chopped’’ finalist and Food & Wine alum, emphasizes fresh seafood, premium meats, and seasonal Arizona produce, blending the warmth of southern Italy and Spain with approachable comfort.

Dishes include aged beef tartare, Spanish octopus, Dungeness crab tortelloni, and a Linz Heritage cowboy ribeye. A highlight is Brugman’s piatta bread (pictured) from the restaurant’s wood-fired hearth.

To match the food, mixology experts Mitch Lyons and Libby Lingua (Highball and Two Hands consulting) created a 12-drink cocktail program that includes a “Choose Your Own Adventure” option where guests pick their spirit base.
