☕️ Coffee Plantation in central Scottsdale has unveiled major renovations and a revamped menu.
Originally launched in downtown Tempe in 1989 by restaurateur Joe Johnston, the coffee shop quickly became one of the most popular gathering spots in the Valley.
In 1993, Johnston sold Coffee Plantation, which eventually expanded to Phoenix and multiple locations in Scottsdale. The iconic Tempe location closed in 2009.
The only current location opened on the northeast corner of Scottsdale and Shea in 2005.
Renovations over the summer feature an oak beam ceiling and a sage green backsplash adorned with hanging plants.
New menu items include lavender and pistachio matcha, Dubai chocolate and strawberry dessert cups, Scandinavian salmon eggs Benedict, plus salads, wraps, and made-to-order crepes and waffles.
A grand reopening celebration is planned for Nov. 20.
