DiMaggio’s to move Saturday into new Scottsdale space

🍝 DiMaggio’s, a very good Italian restaurant in south Scottsdale, is moving into a new home this week.

Owners Brandon and Michele Gioffre, who rebranded The Blind Pig as DiMaggio’s last year, closed that space on the southwest corner of Hayden and Osborn earlier this week.

They plan to reopen Saturday in the space formerly home to Fratelli la Bufala, which closed in September on the southeast corner of Hayden and McCormick Parkway.

The new location, which has a larger kitchen and twice the seating, is four miles north of the previous one.

A wood-fired oven will bolster the East Coast-style Italian-American menu with the addition of traditional Italian meat-focused entrees like roasted chicken and whole fish. The owners also plan to launch lunch hours soon.
