🍺 Two local powerhouses are joining forces for a beer that’s as Arizona as it gets.
Local First Arizona has partnered with OHSO Brewery & Distillery to release Sonoran Sipper, a limited-edition cream ale brewed with hibiscus and lime zest – and made entirely with locally sourced ingredients.
The collaboration spotlights Arizona’s small farms and producers, from Sossaman Farms’ Homestead Malting in Queen Creek (which supplied the barley) to Shamba AZ in north Phoenix (which grew the vibrant hibiscus flowers).
The Sonoran Sipper officially debuts Saturday at all OHSO locations, although it’s already on tap at OHSO Sunnyslope.
It also will be poured at the Arizona Fall Fest on Nov. 8 at Margaret T. Hance Park, a showcase of more than 250 local vendors, 70 restaurants, and dozens of Arizona breweries and distilleries.
Proceeds from the beer will support Local First Arizona through OHSO’s “Give Back” campaign – 100% of sales at Fall Fest and a portion of launch-week proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit.
“Sonoran Sipper represents the best of Arizona’s craft beer spirit – community, collaboration, and local flavor,” says OHSO founder Jon Lane.
