🚫 Angels Trumpet Ale House, a fixture of the Valley’s craft beer scene for the past 13 years, announced it will close permanently Friday.
‘‘It’s hard to believe, but after 13 amazing years, October 31 will be our last day open,’’ the gastropub posted on social media.
‘‘We can’t thank you enough for all the love and support – the friendships, the celebrations, and the countless memories mean more than words can say.’’
Mat and Sharry Englehorn launched Angels Trumpet near the northwest corner of Second Street and McKinley in downtown Phoenix in 2012.
It became one of Phoenix’s pioneering craft beer spots, known for an extensive but well-curated tap list and elevated food. One of its most popular offerings was its reimagined ‘‘TV dinners’’ every Tuesday.
A second Angels Trumpet location opened in Arcadia in 2018 but closed in 2021 during the covid pandemic.
