🍩 Duck Donuts, a Pennsylvania-based chain specializing in made-to-order doughnuts, is closing its original Arizona location that opened in December 2019 on the southwest corner of Arizona and Ocotillo in south Chandler.
‘‘It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our Chandler location effective November 2,’’ store owner Daniel Bruno posted on social media. ‘‘Running a small business is incredibly rewarding, but also incredibly challenging. Despite our best efforts, we’ve had to make the tough decision to close our doors.
‘‘We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who supported us – whether you stopped by for a dozen warm, made-to-order donuts, brought your family in for a sweet treat, or simply shared kind words with our team. Your support has meant the world to us.
‘‘Small businesses are the heartbeat of our community, and we encourage you to continue supporting local whenever you can. Every visit, every purchase, and every word of encouragement makes a difference.’’
Duck Donuts only other Arizona store closed earlier this year in Queen Creek.
