Salad and Go revamps menu with new slow-roasted chicken

🥗 Salad and Go is making a major menu move – and it’s all about the chicken.

If you’ve been a regular of the Gilbert-born chain, you’ve probably heard the chatter: the old chicken wasn’t the star of the show.

Chef Daniel Patino took that feedback to heart and went back to the kitchen to rebuild the recipe from scratch. The result debuted Wednesday across all 55 Arizona locations.

The new chicken is slow-roasted and pulled, with a juicier texture and deeper flavor meant to actually hold its own in a salad or wrap. And, yes, you’ll notice more of it in each order, according to Salad and Go.

The brand, which recently closed more than 40 locations (mostly in Texas), is calling this more than a tweak – it’s a step toward making Salad and Go’s bowls and wraps genuinely craveable, not just convenient.
