TOGO’s Sandwiches closes last Arizona location in Gilbert

🚫 TOGO’s Sandwiches, a California-born deli chain known for its hefty, old-school subs, has officially closed its Gilbert location on the northeast corner of McQueen and Guadalupe.

The restaurant operated for 13 years, building a steady following of diners who appreciated its generously sized sandwiches, from hot pastrami and turkey avocado to its signature #9 Hot Pastrami & Cheese.

The closure appears to have happened without a major announcement – signage came down, online listings flipped to “permanently closed,” and the location has been removed from the TOGO’s website.

While no official reason has been provided, the Gilbert shop was the brand’s only remaining Arizona outpost. TOGO’s once had multiple Valley locations, including Tempe and Chandler, but had gradually scaled back over the years.
