🍔 A year after closing 140 restaurants, Wendy’s announced plans to close approximately 300 more “consistently underperforming” locations.
The company did not release a list of affected restaurants.
Wendy’s, which has around 6,000 restaurants, reported U.S. same-store sales declined 4.7% in the latest quarter.
In contrast, rivals McDonald’s, Burger King, and Shake Shack all posted positive earnings.
