
🇮🇳 Spicy Hut, a casual yet vibrant eatery that blends classic North and South Indian dishes with a few creative twists, has opened near the northeast corner of University and McClintock in Tempe.
It takes over the University strip-mall space formerly home to Chicago’s Chicken Shack, just two doors down from Original Geno’s pizzeria.
Spicy Hut’s menu spans familiar favorites – buttery chicken tikka masala, fragrant biryanis, Aritaku kodi pulao – alongside vegetarian staples like gutti vankaya and chana masala.
It’s the second concept launched by Akhil Yella and Keerthi Reddy Gade, who opened Avasa Restaurant in south Tempe last year.
