🥚 Effin Egg, a Florida-based chain of fast-casual breakfast eateries, has made its Arizona debut next to Trevor’s Liquor near the southeast corner of Indian School and 36th Street in Phoenix.
It takes over the space formerly home to Freshly Laid. Laurshan Construction handled the build-out.
Effin Egg is best known for its craft breakfast sandwiches served on house-made Hawaiian buns. There are eight to choose from, led by The OG (pictured) with bacon, an over-medium egg, sharp cheddar, and ‘‘Mexican sauce.’’
There also are 10 breakfast burritos (also available as bowls) ranging from spicy brisket to Nashville hot chicken with sides like grits and brisket totchos.
On the sweet side, highlights include strawberry cheesecake waffles, French toast, and birthday cake donut balls.
Effin Egg also sells popular apparel and merchandise with its motto ‘‘Potheads Welcome.’’
