🍺 Tipsy Taps & Grill, a family-run sports bar and restaurant, has replaced the year-old DTC Sports Grille location in south Tempe.
The glass-walled building is located on the north end of the Hilton Garden Inn on the west side of the Loop 101 between Guadalupe and Elliot. The sale was facilitated by The Restaurant Brokers.
New owners Peter and Melissia Steen are sourcing local, grass-fed beef, using the entire cow. Specialty burgers include a Whiskey Mushroom Burger and spicy Gila Monster Burger.
Other menu highlights: cheese curds, a fiery Lucifer’s chicken sandwich, chicken verde burrito, and a classic French dip.
More craft beers have been added to the tap list.
Tipsy is the fourth concept in five years to occupy the space. Besides DTC Sports Grille, others have been Tres and Badlands Bar & Grill.
DTC Sports Grille still operates its original location in downtown Chandler.
