🍕 Barro’s Pizza is turning every order into real impact Tuesday as the local chain hosts its 14th annual Doran Barro Holiday Hunger Fight. For one day only, 100% of all sales – dine-in, carry-out, and delivery – will be donated directly to St. Mary’s Food Bank, the nonprofit’s largest fundraiser of the year.
The math is wild: one pizza = 70 meals, and even a fountain drink provides 13. Last year alone, the event raised more than $419,900, enough for 2.1 million meals. Since launching the campaign, Barro’s has contributed $3.25 million, translating to more than 16 million meals for Arizonans experiencing food insecurity.
The event honors Doran Barro, the beloved family matriarch who championed hunger relief. With nearly 1 million Arizonans, including 1 in 5 kids, facing food insecurity, Barro’s is inviting guests to turn Tuesday’s slice into something bigger.
