Dolce Vita Gelato – a 20-year-old Italian dessert shop, deli, and grocery in northeast Mesa – opens its second location Thursday on the northeast corner of Priest and Warner in south Tempe.
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., guests can enjoy a free scoop of stracciatella or lemon gelato. You also can enter a raffle to win a $200 gift card.
While a rotating selection of gelato is the anchor of the menu, Dolce Vita also serves tiramisu, Italian rum cake, cannoli, and other desserts, as well as cold panini.
Like the Mesa shop, everything at the Tempe location will be made in-house, fresh daily.
