🔒 Restaurants, bars, and retail stores across the country have announced they will be closed Friday as part of a nationwide day of “no work, no school, no shopping” in response to the continued ICE operation and the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
So far, dozens of local businesses have announced they will be participating in the protest.
“We must stand against ICE and if that’s what we got to do, shut down our business for a day to stand in solidarity with Minnesota, then that’s what we’re going to do,” Audrey Corley, the owner of Boycott Bar, Title 9 Sports Grill, and Dahlia’s Tapas, posted on social media.
