
🍖 After eight years of dishing out the East Valley’s best barbecue at its southeast Gilbert flagship and, more recently, a second location at Pecan Lake in Queen Creek, Caldwell County BBQ is expanding westward.
The family-run smokehouse hosts a ribbon-cutting for a downtown Peoria location at 10:30 a.m. Thursday just south of Johnny E. Osuna Park on the southwest corner of Grand and Peoria avenues. The doors open at 11 a.m.
The newly built 4,800-square-foot restaurant has indoor and outdoor bars featuring TVs and a private dining room that can accommodate 34 guests.
A fourth Caldwell County BBQ is scheduled to open later this year on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and Loop 101 in northeast Phoenix.
