Tres Leches Café back to 2 locations with Coronado opening

☕️ Just over a year ago I wrote about the closure of Tres Leches Café, a terrific Mexican coffeehouse that had been locked in a two-year battle with its landlord after operating nearly a decade in downtown Phoenix.

It left Tres Leches, known as 3LC, with just a satellite location in south Phoenix, so I was happily surprised to see owners Jose “ET” Rivera and Magaly Martinez Saenz have launched a new quasi-downtown location on the northeast corner of McDowell and 13th Street in the Coronado Historic District.

Try one of their Mexican mocha lattes with a chocolate concha or a caramel empanada – and you’ll become a fan too.
