But no need for fans of Sharon Cunningham’s Southern and Cajun comfort food to panic. It’s just the latest reiteration of her midtown Phoenix restaurant located in an office building near the southwest corner of Central and Thomas.

Along with the new name comes new hours – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, no more breakfast or dinner – and an updated menu. You’ll still find Cunningham’s fried chicken, red beans and rice, and shrimp etouffee, along with lighter fare like sandwiches and soups.

New weekly specials include pulled pork sandwiches, chicken and dumplings, and Sloppy Joes and tater tots.

The changes will better align her restaurant with the area’s office-heavy traffic, Cunningham says.
