Cornish Pasty Co. finally opens long-awaited Glendale location

🇬🇧 After a longer-than-expected wait, Cornish Pasty Co. finally has opened its much-anticipated Glendale location in the historic Gaslight Building on the southeast corner of Glendale and 58th avenues.

The beloved Arizona-born concept, founded by English expat Dean Thomas, has built a fiercely loyal following since debuting in Tempe in 2005.

Known for its hearty, handheld pasties – flaky, crimped pockets stuffed with everything from traditional steak and potato to globally inspired fillings – Cornish Pasty Co. has steadily expanded to seven Valley locations while keeping its cozy, pub-like vibe intact.

(There also are locations in Flagstaff, Las Vegas, and Boulder City, Nev.)

The new Glendale outpost delivers the same formula that made the brand a local institution: a dimly lit, brick-and-wood interior; an extensive draft and whiskey list; and a menu that balances British classics with creative riffs.

Fan favorites like the Oggie (steak, potato, onion, and rutabaga), the Lamb & Mint, and the Cajun Chicken pasty anchor the lineup, alongside soups, salads, and shareable starters.

Cornish Pasty is open for lunch and dinner daily.
