Chase Field’s most gloriously unhinged new food & drinks

⚾️ The Diamondbacks play host to the Detroit Tigers in their 2026 home opener tonight at Chase Field, and while the D-backs front office would love for you to focus on baseball, let’s be honest – you’re probably more interested the food.

There are roughly 50 new “wow” concession items this season. I’ll walk you through the ones most likely to end your diet, your dignity, or both.

Leading the hype parade is the Take Me Out to the Ballgame Shake (pictured) – a salted caramel shake burying whipped cream, peanut butter sandwich cookies, Kit Kat bars, and Cracker Jacks under one roof.

The price has been kept under wraps in advance, but you can find it at Churro Dog HQ in Sections 129 and 324, where the staff presumably is used to watching people make questionable decisions.

If you came hungry enough to bring a crew, the Brisket Brigade is basically a Renaissance Faire on a platter: burnt-end brisket, loaded BBQ pulled pork potato, a 1/3 rack of St. Louis ribs, vinegar slaw, mac & cheese, beer-pickled onions, pickles, and house barbecue sauce.

It’s described as “shareable,” though I respect your right to try it alone. Find it at D-Backs BBQ Alley in Section 114.

Bucket Nachos are exactly what they sound like — cheese-coated chips heaped with your choice of barbacoa beef, Southwestern chili, pork carnitas, or vegetable fajitas, served in either a half-gallon or full-gallon D-Backs-branded bucket.

A gallon of nachos. Let that sink in as you head to Bases Loaded in Section 109.

And if regular Bucket Nachos feel insufficiently unhinged, mosey over to Red Hot Grill in Sections 312 and 320 for Snake Bite Nachos – a bucket loaded with chorizo, Monterey Jack sauce, pico de gallo, jalapeños, guacamole, and something ominously called “venom sauce.”

Your waistline may hate you. Your taste buds will not.
