Luna Grill opens second Valley restaurant near SanTan Village

🥙 Mediterranean fast-casual chain Luna Grill has opened its second Arizona location, continuing its push into the Valley less than a year after entering the state.

The San Diego-based brand’s newest restaurant debuted Thursday near SanTan Village in Gilbert, in the former Teriyaki Madness space on the northeast corner of Market Street and Pecos Road.

It follows the opening of Luna Grill’s first Arizona location in southeast Mesa in November, marking a quick second step in the company’s local expansion.

Founded in 2004, Luna Grill has built a loyal following in California and Texas with a menu centered on fresh, made-to-order Mediterranean fare.

The lineup features charbroiled kabob plates with basmati rice, wraps filled with shawarma or falafel, and protein-packed bowls with grilled chicken, steak, lamb, or salmon.

Popular dishes include the chicken kabob plate, gyro meat plates, and Luna Vida bowl, along with classic Mediterranean sides like hummus, pitas, tzatziki, and Greek salad.

The concept emphasizes lighter fare prepared with fresh ingredients and house-made marinades and sauces.

Open for lunch and dinner daily.
