🇮🇳 Tikka Drive has opened on the northwest corner of Arizona and Warner in Chandler, and it’s doing something no one in Arizona has done before: serving hot, handmade Indian food via a drive-thru.
The brainchild of Rahul Sahota – known to many as ‘‘the son’’ from the beloved Namaste Indian Restaurant in Scottsdale – Tikka Drive is built on a simple but bold promise: no freezers, no microwaves, no compromises.
Every dish is made from scratch using Punjabi family recipes, and five clay tandoor ovens imported from India turn out fresh naan the traditional way.
The menu is focused and hits all the right notes: butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, paneer tikka masala, and a vegan mixed vegetable dish, each served with basmati rice and customizable from spice level 1 (mild) to 5 (bring a fire extinguisher).
All meat is certified halal, and everything is cooked in pure ghee – making it Arizona’s first seed-oil-free Indian restaurant.
First visit? Score free naan. That’s reason enough to check it out.
Open 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.
