🚫 After nearly two decades serving the southwest Valley, Yan’s Chinese Food has quietly closed its doors on the southeast corner of Roosevelt Street and Estrella Parkway in Goodyear.
Scott Zhen, son of the owners, shared a heartfelt farewell on Facebook that captured what made Yan’s more than just a lunch stop for 19 years. His father started the restaurant, and after his passing, his mother carried that dream forward until deciding it’s time to retire.
‘‘We hope that this place wasn’t just a place for food, but also memories made that will last a lifetime,’’ Scott wrote.
