Pho J&N replaces Thai restaurant 5 R Cha in west Chandler

🍜 West Chandler has a new Vietnamese option, and it comes with a track record worth trusting.

Pho J&N recently opened on the southeast corner of Rural and Chandler – the strip-mall space that briefly housed Thai restaurant 5 R Cha, which came and went in roughly a year.

I’m told the new tenant shares ownership with Pho Dalat, the well-regarded Vietnamese spot that’s been anchoring a Tempe strip mall near Kyrene and Elliot since 2010.

If you’ve had Pho Dalat’s long-simmered broths, you have a reasonable idea of what to expect here. The menu follows the familiar and welcome Vietnamese-American playbook: pho in several configurations, vermicelli bowls, and rice plates.

Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
