Myungrang Hotdog to close its last Arizona location Sunday

🚫 Is Arizona’s Korean corn dog moment over?

Myungrang Hotdog, the Mesa eatery that became a Valley obsession, will close its doors for good this Sunday, marking the end of the chain’s run in the state.

The shop on the northeast corner of Dobson and Broadway exploded in popularity after TikTok food critic Keith Lee visited in 2024, sending lines around the block and turning the Mesa location into a must-visit destination.

Fans lined up for Myungrang’s signature rice flour corn dogs – coated in crushed ramen, sugar, or a wild assortment of toppings – that had already earned a cult following long before Lee’s visit.

The Mesa closure after five years follows the shutdown of the chain’s Glendale location last year, leaving no remaining Arizona outposts.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the team reflected on five years of community and memories, noting the shop was ‘‘so much more than just a business.’’

There may be life after closing day, though. The team teased possible appearances at local festivals down the road. Until then, this week is your last chance to grab one.
