🍤 The wait is over. PoNy’s Miches Michelada Bar & Grill has opened on the southwest corner of Central and Portland – the former home of FEZ on Central – in downtown Phoenix.
Jose “Pony” Flores and his wife, Analiz Gonzalez, founded PoNy’s in 2020, starting with non-alcoholic micheladas and shrimp ceviche from the tailgate of their truck.
They opened their first brick-and-mortar in Goodyear in the summer of 2024, and now they’ve teamed with CFO Sergio Escamilla to bring their award-winning mariscos to a beach-inspired space in the city’s core, a move facilitated by The Restaurant Brokers.
The new location is their most ambitious yet: a fully stocked bar serving loaded micheladas, plus an expanded menu of shrimp ceviches, seafood tacos, loaded fries, wings, and burgers.
Open for lunch and dinner daily.
