🥗 A new cafe has opened on the Sonoran University of Health Sciences campus ion the northwest corner of Broadway and the Loop 101 in Tempe, and the menu feels right at home at a naturopathic medicine school.
Good Intentions Cafe – not related to Los Angeles’ Good Intentions Coffee – is serving fuel bowls, salads, smoothies, and coffee in a fast-casual format with prices mostly in the $8 range.
The bowl lineup includes options like the Sonoran Green (black beans, avocado, jalapeño spinach sauce) and the Garden Roast (roasted squash, zucchini, cauliflower, and garlic sauce over basmati or brown rice).
Smoothies cover everything from the Green Monkey (spinach, banana, chocolate, peanut butter protein) to the Tropic Lift (pineapple, mango, banana, apple juice).
Coffee drinks start at $2.45 for drip, and the tea menu has some fun varietals, including Prickly Pear and Insomniac Dream.
Open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.
