Singalong bar Off The Record opens tonight in downtown Phoenix

🎤 Off The Record, Arizona’s first and only group singalong bar, officially opens its doors tonight at 7 p.m., and it’s unlike anything the Valley has seen before.

Located on the southeast corner of Roosevelt and First Avenue in downtown Phoenix, Off The Record throws out the karaoke rulebook entirely.

There are no mics, no stages, no solos – just an entire room of people belting out the greatest anthems of all time, together. Think of it as collective catharsis with a killer soundtrack, guided by professional DJs who know how to work a crowd.

Each night explores a different musical universe, rotating through ’80s/’90s/’00s hits, Contemporary Pop, Country, Latin, R&B, Yacht Rock, and more.

Co-founder Ryan Oberholtzer, the mind behind Barcoa Agaveria and Provecho, describes it as a place where strangers instantly feel like forever friends.

Tonight’s public grand opening runs from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Going forward, the bar is open 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday, plus Sunday Brunch singalongs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
