Greenwood Brewing launches local food pop-ups experience

🍺 Megan Greenwood, founder of Greenwood Brewing, has announced “Eat Local at Greenwood,” a new concept that transforms the downtown Phoenix brewery’s outdoor courtyard into a rotating food hall-style experience featuring local food founders, chefs, and pop-up concepts throughout the week.

The idea grew organically from the evolution of what Greenwood is calling “Greenwood Corner.” Late last year, Retail Therapy, a shop carrying goods from 50 Arizona small businesses, moved into the Craftsman-style house in the Greenwood Courtyard, bringing a sip-and-shop concept and even a fine-line tattoo and piercing residency from Dazey Aesthetic Collective.

That energy of hyper-local collaboration sparked something bigger.

“Think food hall energy, but curated differently every night with a different founder and concept,” Greenwood writes in an email to her community.

The soft launch is already underway, and this week’s lineup gives a taste of what’s to come: Las Hamburguesas food truck kicked things off Sunday, Ansley Table pops up Thursday and Friday, and Lovebite Dumplings joins Saturday’s garden party alongside DJ Mayume and vinyl vendor Rosemary Records.

The concept officially launches the first week of June. And if you need another reason to visit, Greenwood’s newest beer, Tails Don’t Lie, is already on tap.
