🍖 Phoenix has no shortage of drive-thru concepts, but Bikini-Q BBQ might be the first one that feels like a pool party.
The new venture from the Pork on a Fork crew is bringing ‘‘beach energy and backyard BBQ culture’’ to the northwest side, with a bikini-topped staff serving up their signature Meat QT Pies with brisket, pulled pork, or pulled chicken.
For now, it’s a soft open out of a food truck on the northeast corner of Bell and 33rd Avenue from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday while the permanent space gets finished up.
Hours are limited, so this is squarely in the “worth the detour” category for BBQ fans who want to get ahead of the buzz.
