The Salted Knot hasn’t closed in downtown Mesa – at least not yet

🥨 I guess this is what they call a plot twist: Downtown Mesa pretzel shop The Salted Knot did not close Sunday as previously announced.

Owners Maria Vassett and Chad Day shared the news on Facebook Friday, explaining that they’ll keep the doors open until the right buyer comes along – someone interested in purchasing their equipment and assets and taking over their turn-key restaurant space with a new food concept.

Expect some changes in the meantime: likely reduced summer hours and a smaller pretzel menu while they figure out the new game plan.

So that “last knot” you were planning to grab? No rush – at least for now.
