🚧 If you’ve been sleeping on Flagstaff’s food scene, chef Rochelle Daniel is about to give you a very loud wake-up call.
The two-time James Beard Award semifinalist – and the woman behind Atria, the modern-American restaurant that’s had food lovers making the mountain drive since 2021 – is opening not one but two new concepts on Leroux Street this summer.
First up is Pompette, a French bistro and bakery that will kick off each morning with fresh pastries and artisan breads before transitioning into lunch and dinner service. Think steak frites, coq au vin, a lobster roll on house-made brioche, and grilled Wagyu skewers – all executed over a custom open-fire hearth.
The space will lean into warm wood tones, custom tile, and playful florals: bistro-chic without taking itself too seriously.
Downstairs – literally – is Little Rich Girl, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar tucked beneath Atria and Pompette in a building that’s stood for over a century. The moody, velvet-clad room is led by beverage director Michael Hopper, Arizona’s Top Mixologist at the 2025 Foodist Awards.
The food menu will be gloriously unhinged in the best way: caviar service alongside a smashburger, tater tots topped with caviar and parmesan paired with a vodka shot (pictured), and a cinnamon roll iced tableside.
