From Badlands to Public House: New gastropub lands in Queen Creek

🍔 Queen Creek Public House has opened on the southwest corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, taking over the space that was home to Badlands Bar & Grill since 2024.

The gastropub was sold in May to a group headed by Grant and Melisa Farmer in a deal facilitated by The Restaurant Brokers. The interior has been revamped and a new menu launched.

Lunch and dinner options start with hearty appetizers like chili cheese fries and a chips-and-dip trio, plus wings served traditional or boneless.

Sandwich and burger lovers can dig into a Philly cheesesteak, French dip, or the double-double Public House Burger (pictured), while entrées like lemon pepper salmon and BBQ chicken round things out.

Weekend breakfast brings a loaded breakfast burrito, chicken fried steak smothered in sausage gravy, and build-your-own omelets or skillets.

Queen Creek Public House is open 11 a.m.-midnight Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-midnight Saturday, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
