A decade later, Johnny Rockets returns to Chandler mall

🍔 Johnny Rockets‘ comeback to Chandler Fashion Center is finally here – the retro burger joint opens its doors this Saturday.

The new spot lands in the mall’s food court, a decade after the original Chandler Fashion Center location closed up shop. It’s the sixth Valley location for the Los Angeles-born chain, and the second under longtime franchisee Richard ‘‘Rip’’ Riva, who owns the Arizona Mills location in Tempe.

Expect the classic Johnny Rockets rundown: made-to-order burgers, hand-dipped shakes and malts, hot dogs, chicken strips, fries, tots, and onion rings, all served up in that chrome-and-jukebox diner atmosphere the brand built its name on.

Johnny Rockets is open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
