Here’s every ex-Salad and Go spot Dutch Bros is taking over in AZ

☕️ I’ve been tracking the Salad and Go saga for a while now – the closure of every Texas and Oklahoma location back in January, the subsequent move of the company’s headquarters back to Arizona, the ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak, and last week’s Chapter 11 filing and closure of every remaining store.

Today, let’s talk about what comes next for all those empty drive-through boxes scattered across the Valley.

Tempe-based coffee chain Dutch Bros, as I’m sure you’ve heard, has agreed to pay $105 million for the leases on 51 former Salad and Go locations across Arizona and Nevada, plus more than a dozen others in Texas and Oklahoma.

The logic tracks: Both chains built their business around drive-through-only boxes with no indoor seating, so Dutch Bros doesn’t have to gut a kitchen or rip out a grill hood to make the spaces work – just swap the signage and the menu boards.

Dutch Bros says it expects to start converting stores next year, and the sale still needs bankruptcy court approval. In the meantime, what you probably want is the list. So here are the 47 Arizona addresses named in the filing:
