🥗 If you’ve been mourning the loss of your regular Salad and Go run, there’s finally some good news. Angie’s, the fast-food concept from the husband-and-wife team behind Salad and Go, just announced nine new locations.
Angie’s dropped the news Wednesday with a social post that read like a direct answer to fans who’ve been asking for the brand to open closer to home. The company says it’s targeting the first three new locations within six weeks, with the remaining six slated to open by the end of the year.
Here’s where Angie’s is headed across the Valley and beyond:
- 19th Avenue & Glendale in Phoenix
- Baseline & 19th Avenue in Phoenix
- Alma School & Guadalupe in Mesa
- Ironwood & Pima in Queen Creek
- Crismon & Southern in Mesa
- Seventh Avenue & Indian School in Phoenix
- John Wayne Parkway & Smith Enke in Maricopa
- Yuma & Cotton in Goodyear
- Florence Boulevard & Henness in Casa Grande
The brand is leaning hard into community momentum to fuel the rollout, telling followers on social media that growth depends on their support: sharing posts, spreading the word, and simply showing up more often. As the company puts it, ‘‘the bigger our Angie’s community grows… the more locations we can open.’’
Direct pitch to Salad and Go customers
The expansion news follows an even more personal message posted a day earlier by Angie’s founder, Tony Christofellis, addressed squarely at customers still grieving the closure of Salad and Go.
Christofellis, who co-founded Salad and Go with his wife, Roushon, before selling the company in 2021, acknowledged the attachment longtime customers had to their old orders and routines – and made clear that Angie’s isn’t meant to be a carbon copy of what came before.
Instead, he described it as an evolution: hand-cut organic and premium ingredients prepared fresh in-store daily, proteins grilled to order, cooking done exclusively in extra virgin olive oil, and dressings that are largely seed-oil free. Salads with grilled antibiotic-free chicken or seared falafel are priced at $4.99. (Pictured above: Angie’s Mexican salad with chicken,)
To back that up, Christofellis rolled out a ‘‘30-day money-back guarantee’’ aimed specifically at former Salad and Go regulars: buy an Angie’s salad, and if it doesn’t measure up to what they remember, he’ll personally refund it – provided customers send proof of purchase from both Angie’s and their old Salad and Go orders, along with an explanation of what fell short. He said he’d read and respond to every message himself.
He was careful to note the offer isn’t a knock on Angie’s current fan base, thanking existing customers for backing the brand from the start.
What this means for the Valley
With Salad and Go’s abrupt exit still fresh in a lot of Phoenix-area customers’ minds, Angie’s expansion – and the personal guarantee behind it – reads as a calculated bid to win that audience back on home turf.
Whether the strategy pays off will come down to execution over the next several months, but for now, nine new corners across Phoenix, Mesa, Queen Creek, Maricopa, Goodyear, and Casa Grande are officially on the map.
