🥙 Luna Grill, the San Diego-born fast-casual Mediterranean chain known for its flame-grilled kabobs and made-to-order bowls, has opened its newest Arizona restaurant in Avondale – the brand’s first foray into the West Valley and its third location in the state overall.
The new spot sits on the northwest corner of Indian School and the Loop 101, following earlier Arizona openings in Mesa and Gilbert since the brand entered the market back in November 2025.
The chain got its start in San Diego back in 2004, founded by husband-and-wife team Sean and Maria Pourteymour, and has built a loyal following on proteins marinated for a full day using family recipes, then grilled over open flame.
The Avondale location debuts the brand’s updated restaurant design, complete with murals from a local artist, alongside dine-in, takeout, and digital ordering.
Expect the full lineup of flame-grilled kabobs, signature bowls, wraps, salads, fresh pitas, and family-style meals, along with catering options.
Luna Grill is open 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
